Overview

How we support your project

As Pakistan works towards its Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement, and provinces move to integrated air quality and climate planning, credible emissions data has never been more important.

We provide independent Third-Party Validation (TPV) and verification of greenhouse gas and air pollutant emission inventories, assessing their accuracy, transparency, completeness, consistency and comparability. Combined with our in-house emission and ambient air monitoring, this gives governments and industry confidence that their inventories are robust and traceable.

What we deliver

Our ghg validation services

01

Third-Party Validation (TPV)

Independent validation of provincial, city and sectoral GHG and air pollutant inventory systems, methods and outputs.

02

MRV support

Design and implementation of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification systems across sectors.

03

Emission measurement

Stack emission and ambient air monitoring to verify emission factors and activity data.

04

GHG inventory preparation

Corporate, facility and project inventories aligned with ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol.

05

Activity data surveys

On-ground surveys and data verification for energy, transport, industry, agriculture, waste and residential sectors.

06

ETS and carbon readiness

Baseline data, carbon footprinting and reporting support for emissions trading and climate disclosure.

Validation stages

How the validation is carried out

01

Review of Inception & Methodological Frameworks

Review of inventory design, boundaries and methods against IPCC decision trees, EMEP/EEA methods and the approved provincial system.

02

Validation of Activity Data Collection

Assessment of primary and secondary data sources across energy, transport, industry, agriculture, waste and residential sectors.

03

Verification of Emission Estimates

Validation of calculations for CO₂, CH₄, N₂O, black carbon and air pollutants, and of Tier 1 and Tier 2 emission factors.

04

QA/QC, Uncertainty & Institutional Assessment

Independent review of QA/QC procedures, uncertainty estimates and institutional arrangements.

05

Reporting & Recommendations

A Third-Party Validation Report with every finding traceable to the applicable IPCC guidance.

FAQ

Common questions

Who is GHG validation for?

Provincial and city governments preparing emission inventories, and companies that need independent assurance of their greenhouse gas data for reporting, lenders or emissions trading.

Can you also measure emissions?

Yes. Our in-house stack emission and ambient air monitoring lets us cross-check emission factors and activity data in the field.

Our approach
